IBPS photo resizer: photo, signature, thumb and declaration size for every IBPS exam
One IBPS photo resizer covers every IBPS form, because the IBPS portal uses the same four image sizes for PO, Clerk, SO and the Regional Rural Bank exams: photo 200×230 px, signature 140×60 px, left thumb 240×240 px and handwritten declaration 800×400 px. Below, the IBPS photo and signature size for each exam side by side, the few places where they differ, and links to make each file on your phone.

What differs between IBPS exams
The four image uploads are identical across the family, so IBPS image resize is simple: one set of files works for every form you fill. The differences are in the extras.
- All five IBPS forms (PO, Clerk, SO, RRB PO and RRB Clerk) add a fifth upload: your Class 10 (SSC/SSLC) certificate as a PDF on A4 pages, up to 500 KB. Two-page certificates go into one PDF.
- IBPS RRB PO and RRB Clerk (Regional Rural Banks, not the railways) share one notice, CRP RRBs XV, so their upload rules are identical.
- Seasons differ: PO and SO usually open in July–August, Clerk in August and RRB in September; files made in July still fit the later forms.
The thumb impression for IBPS PO, Clerk and RRB is the left thumb, and the declaration must be in your own English handwriting, not in capitals.
A live photo is taken too
IBPS forms capture a live photo as well as the uploaded one, through your webcam or by scanning a QR code with your phone. Both should look like you today: same glasses, same beard, same hairstyle.
IBPS photo and signature size online, in one evening
Sign and press your left thumb on one white sheet, write the declaration on a second, and take the photo last against a light wall. Then open your exam above, crop each item and run Auto-fit. Download the ZIP before you start the form, so each upload box takes seconds.

IBPS photo and signature size FAQ
What is the IBPS signature size?
140×60 pixels, 10–20 KB, JPG, in black ink and not in capital letters, for every IBPS exam.
What is the IBPS Clerk photo size?
200×230 pixels, 20–50 KB, JPG: a recent colour passport-style photo on a light background, scanned at 200 DPI. IBPS PO, SO and the RRB exams use exactly the same photo size.
How do I make the left thumb impression for IBPS?
Press your left thumb once on white paper with a black or blue stamp pad, photograph it in daylight and crop it here. The file is 240×240 pixels, 20–50 KB. No left thumb? Use the right thumb; the notice allows it.
What is the IBPS declaration size?
800×400 pixels, 50–100 KB, JPG. Write the IBPS text in English in your own running handwriting, not in capitals. The text is on each exam page; copy it word for word.
Can I use the same files for IBPS PO and IBPS Clerk?
Yes for the photo, signature and thumb, while the photo is still recent. Every IBPS form also asks for your 10th certificate as a PDF, so keep that file ready too.
Do SBI forms use the IBPS sizes?
The pixel and KB sizes match, but SBI has its own declaration text with your date of birth. Use the SBI PO or SBI Clerk page so the declaration is right.
