IBPS PO handwritten declaration: what is specific to this exam

These IBPS PO 2026 rules come from the IBPS notice “CRP PO/MT-XVI”, page 39, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The IBPS PO form usually opens around July–August.

From our IBPS PO notes

IBPS PO (CRP PO/MT-XVI) asks for five uploads, not four. Besides the usual photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, the 2026 notice adds your Class 10 (SSC/SSLC) certificate as a PDF. The 2026 application window was 01–21 July 2026.
On a white sheet, sign, put the left thumb impression, and write the IBPS declaration: "I, ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." Unlike SBI, there is no Date of Birth line.
Cannot write: get the declaration typed and put your left thumb impression below it.
A declaration in Hindi or in someone else's handwriting is treated as invalid.

IBPS allows such candidates to get the declaration text typed and put their left thumb impression below it, then upload that as the declaration.

Can I write the declaration in Hindi?

No. IBPS treats a declaration in any other language, or written by someone else, as invalid. Write it in English in your own hand.
