IBPS PO signature: what is specific to this exam

These IBPS PO 2026 rules come from the IBPS notice “CRP PO/MT-XVI”, page 39, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The IBPS PO form usually opens around July–August.

From our IBPS PO notes

• IBPS PO (CRP PO/MT-XVI) asks for five uploads, not four. Besides the usual photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, the 2026 notice adds your Class 10 (SSC/SSLC) certificate as a PDF. The 2026 application window was 01–21 July 2026.
• On a white sheet, sign, put the left thumb impression, and write the IBPS declaration: "I, ______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." Unlike SBI, there is no Date of Birth line.
• Keep the ZIP. IBPS will not let you move to the next stage of the form until the photo and signature meet the specs.

Upload errors and how to fix them

These are the messages the IBPS PO portal shows. Each one has a fix.

Error: Signature / Hand written declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted

Fix: This rule is in the notice itself. Re-write the signature and the declaration in normal running handwriting, then upload again.

Error: Photo uploaded in place of signature

Fix: Each upload box takes only its own document. Use the file names SahiSize gives (photo.jpg, sign.jpg, thumb.jpg, decl.jpg) so you never mix them up.

Error: The system will not allow the candidate to move forward to the next stage

Fix: IBPS blocks the next step until photo and signature match the specs. Check both files in the Pass check card before uploading.
