IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) photograph: what is specific to this exam
These IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) 2026 rules come from the IBPS notice “CRP RRBs XV”, page 58, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) form usually opens around September.
From our IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) notes
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale I is recruitment for Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks), not the railways. The 2026 cycle (CRP RRBs-XV) took applications from 1 to 27 September 2026 (extended from 21 September). PO and Office Assistant posts share one notification, so one set of files works for both.
- Searching "RRB photo size" and getting the Railway RRB rules. Railway forms take a live photo and a 30–49 KB signature; Gramin Bank forms do not.
- Read the error, find the matching row in the Pass check card, and redo only that file. Do not re-compress a file you already downloaded; start from the original photo so it stays sharp.
IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) photograph compared with similar exams
- IBPS RRB Clerk (Office Assistant), IBPS PO, NABARD Grade A, SBI PO and IBPS Clerk use the same photograph size as IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) (200×230 px · 20–50 KB · JPG), so one file passes all these forms while the photo is still recent. IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) photograph questions
Is RRB PO the same as Railway RRB?
No. IBPS RRB means Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks). Railway RRB exams like NTPC have completely different sizes and take the photo live.
Can I use the same files for RRB PO and RRB Clerk?
Yes. Both posts are in the same CRP RRBs notification with the same specs, so one set of files works for both applications.
