RRB Group D (Level 1) SC/ST certificate (free travel pass): what is specific to this exam
These RRB Group D (Level 1) 2025 rules come from the RRB notice “CEN 09/2025 (Level 1 posts)”, page 32, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The RRB Group D (Level 1) form usually opens around January–February.
From our RRB Group D (Level 1) notes
- RRB Group D (Level 1, CEN 09/2025) is the largest railway recruitment, and many applicants fill the form on a phone. The form usually opens around January–February. You do not upload a photo; you upload a signature, and an SC/ST certificate only if you want a free travel pass.
- Certificate: photograph each page, add them here, and make one PDF under 400 KB.
- RRB wants the latest valid certificate as on the closing date. If yours was issued years ago in an old state format, get a fresh one before the form closes rather than after; a Group D signature is easy to redo, a certificate is not.
