RBI Grade B photograph: what is specific to this exam
These RBI Grade B 2026 rules come from the RBI notice “Direct Recruitment for the Posts of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) (General/DEPR/DSIM) Cadres – Panel Year 2026, Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27”, page 4, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The RBI Grade B form usually opens around April–May.
From our RBI Grade B notes
- RBI Grade B (DR) applications for Panel Year 2026 ran from 29 April to 20 May 2026. Our values are checked against Appendix-I of the official RBI notice (Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27). The photo and signature specs match the standard bank portal. The notice also fixes the KB limits for the left thumb and the handwritten declaration, but not their pixel sizes, so this page marks those two as disputed.
- The live photo taken in the form should match your uploaded photo.
RBI Grade B photograph compared with similar exams
- RBI Assistant, NABARD Grade A, SBI PO and IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) use the same photograph size as RBI Grade B (200×230 px · 20–50 KB · JPG), so one file passes all these forms while the photo is still recent. RBI Assistant sizes · NABARD Grade A sizes · SBI PO sizes · IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) sizes
Upload errors and how to fix them
These are the messages the RBI Grade B portal shows. Each one has a fix.

- Fix: Each upload box takes only its own document. Use the file names SahiSize gives (photo.jpg, sign.jpg, thumb.jpg, decl.jpg) so you never mix them up.
RBI Grade B photograph questions
Is it the same form for DR General, DEPR and DSIM?
No. The notice asks you to apply through separate links, and pay separately, for DR General and for DEPR or DSIM. The uploads and their sizes are the same in each form.
