CSIR UGC NET category certificate: what is specific to this exam
These CSIR UGC NET December 2026 rules come from the NTA notice “Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 Information Bulletin”, page 7, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The CSIR UGC NET form usually opens around October, November or March.
From our CSIR UGC NET notes
- Joint CSIR-UGC NET has the most optional PDFs of the NTA forms. Everyone uploads a photo and a signature; many candidates also need a category certificate or a result-awaited attestation form, and each must be a PDF of 50–300 KB.
- Category certificate: if you claim a reserved category. Use the format given in the bulletin annexures.
- A caste certificate with a second page, or an attestation form on two sheets, must still go up as one file. Add all pages to the certificate step here. If a single page comes out under 50 KB, SahiSize raises the quality until it crosses the minimum; if several pages go over 300 KB, it compresses them while keeping text readable.
