Where an image to PDF under 100 KB is needed
Many state and university forms cap each document at 100 KB, for papers such as a domicile certificate, a gap-year affidavit or an income certificate. For NEET UG, whose address proof and category certificate must be PDFs of 50 to 300 KB, a 100 KB PDF is also a safe pick: comfortably above the floor and well under the top.
How many photos fit in 100 KB
Two pages with clear text, three if the pages are plain. Each A4 page needs about 40 KB to keep normal print readable once it is scaled for a small file. With four or more pages, the tool will still produce a PDF under 100 KB, but every page gets smaller; check the preview before you rely on it.
Photos straight from a modern phone are 2 to 5 MB each, so the tool first caps them at 2000 pixels on the long side and then searches for the best JPEG quality that fits.
Page order and page size
The PDF follows the list from top to bottom, so put page 1 first; for a two-sided document, front then back. A4 places each photo on an A4 sheet with margins, which looks like a proper document when the portal or an officer opens it. Original keeps each photo’s shape, which wastes nothing on borders and is better for small items.
