SBI PO photograph: what is specific to this exam

These SBI PO 2026 rules come from the SBI notice “Recruitment of Probationary Officers 2026 (Advt. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09)”, page 15, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The SBI PO form usually opens around June–July.

From our SBI PO notes

SBI PO uses the same four uploads as SBI Clerk, but candidates usually apply in June–July, a few months earlier. If you applied for SBI Clerk last year, much of your work can be reused, but not all of it.
The SBI PO 2026 declaration reads "I ________ (Name of the candidate), _______ (Date of Birth) hereby declare…" and ends with "The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine." The wording is close to the clerk text but not identical, so copy the version shown on this page.
Regular glasses are fine if there is no glare. Religious headwear is allowed if your face is not covered. Caps and dark glasses are not. The live photo captured in the form should match the uploaded one, so take both on the same day if you can.

SBI PO photograph compared with similar exams

SBI Clerk (Junior Associate), IBPS PO, RBI Grade B and IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) use the same photograph size as SBI PO (200×230 px · 20–50 KB · JPG), so one file passes all these forms while the photo is still recent. SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) sizes · IBPS PO sizes · RBI Grade B sizes · IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) sizes

Upload errors and how to fix them

These are the messages the SBI PO portal shows. Each one has a fix.

Error: Photo uploaded in place of signature: Fix: Each upload box takes only its own document. Use the file names SahiSize gives (photo.jpg, sign.jpg, thumb.jpg, decl.jpg) so you never mix them up.

SBI PO photograph questions

Can I wear glasses in the SBI PO photo?

Regular glasses are fine if there is no reflection and your eyes are clearly visible. Dark or tinted glasses are not accepted.

Are SBI PO and SBI Clerk sizes the same?

Yes, all four documents use the same pixels and KB. The declaration text is also the SBI version with Date of Birth, so one set of files works for both if you apply in the same year.
