RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) SC/ST certificate (free travel pass): what is specific to this exam
These RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) 2026 rules come from the RRB notice “CEN 01/2026 (Assistant Loco Pilot)”, page 18, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) form usually opens around May–June.
From our RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) notes
- RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (CEN 01/2026) uses the current RRB pattern: no photo upload, a live photo in the form, and a signature with an unusual minimum size. The CEN 01/2026 form was open from 15 May to 14 June 2026.
- If you are SC/ST and want a free train pass to the exam, upload your certificate as a PDF under 400 KB. SahiSize caps it at 399 KB to stay safely under.
- ALP has more stages than most RRB exams, with a computer-based aptitude test after the two CBTs, so you may travel more than once. Keep the original certificate safe: the PDF gets you the pass, but document verification checks the original.
