Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) photograph: what is specific to this exam
These Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) 2025 rules come from the CSBC Bihar notice “Advt. No. 01/2025 (Constable)”, page 12, last checked on 22 Oct 2026. The Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) form usually opens around March–April.
From our Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) notes
- The Bihar Police Constable form from CSBC (Advt. 01/2025) asks for three images, and all three share one narrow limit: 15–25 KB. That window is only 10 KB wide, so a file that is "about right" often is not. It is the main reason CSBC uploads fail.
- A fresh photo. The photo must be in colour, on a white background, and not older than two months. An old ID-card photo is a risk at the physical test, where your face is compared with it.
- Take a new photo against a plain white wall in daylight. Keep your face and shoulders in frame.
- In SahiSize, open the photo step and press Auto-fit. It keeps the file above the 15 KB minimum and just under 25 KB, with a safety margin at both ends, so it passes whether the portal counts 1 KB as 1000 or 1024 bytes.
Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) photograph compared with similar exams
- Unlike SSC GD Constable, RRB Group D (Level 1) and SSC CPO (Delhi Police & CAPF SI), where the photo is taken live in the form, Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) wants an uploaded photo: 15–25 KB · JPG. SSC GD Constable sizes · RRB Group D (Level 1) sizes · SSC CPO (Delhi Police & CAPF SI) sizes
Upload errors and how to fix them
These are the messages the Bihar Police Constable (CSBC) portal shows. Each one has a fix.
- Error:
Photograph older than 2 months
- Fix: CSBC wants a photo taken within the last two months. An old ID-card photo can lead to rejection at the PET; take a fresh one.
