From our IAF Agniveervayu notes
- The IAF Agniveervayu form turns the usual advice upside down. Most exams want small files; here the photo must be 100–200 KB, the signature 80–150 KB and the left thumb impression 50–100 KB. A photo compressed to 30 KB for a bank form will be refused.
- Signature in black ink, signed only by you. Scan just the signature area, not the full page; 80–150 KB.
- If you are under 18 on the day you apply: your father's, mother's or guardian's signature. The notice gives no size, but the official portal's upload page lists 80–150 KB, the same as yours.

IAF Agniveervayu signature questions
What are the signature and thumb sizes?
Signature 80–150 KB and left thumb impression 50–100 KB, both JPG/JPEG. Scan only the signature or thumb area, not the full page.
Can SahiSize add the name and date for me?
No, and it should not. IAF wants a real slate held in the photo, not a printed strip. Take the photo with the slate and SahiSize will size it.
I am 17. What extra do I upload?
Your father's, mother's or guardian's signature, scanned and uploaded in the separate field.
